Ruth RosentraterArtist Statement
I have always felt the notion that art is for everyone. The knowledge you gain from feeling passion, as well as showing passion about art, a particular artist, art style or medium even though it changes makes you a more well rounded person. I strongly hold the belief that everyone can learn to draw, paint or sculpt if given the tools and tricks and time to explore and try, if you never try it will never happen.

Mini Art Bio
I have been an artist all my life. The first large piece of art I drew was a crayon mural on the wall behind my headboard. My favorite subject is people. I think that everyone is absolutely fascinating, and every person on this earth has something about them that is absolutely beautiful. The person on the street that some people would consider ugly...isn’t ugly, if you just look at bit closer they have great hair, hands, a way they stand or walk, its that something deeper that I try to draw that really shows you who they are from the inside. The same goes for houses, animals and everything else.
