Artist Entry Submissions:
Eligibility
This exhibit is open to living artists 18 years and older. All works of art in the following categories are eligible: drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking (artist - pulled originals), mixed media and must not exceed 60 inches in any direction. Photography will not be featured in this show. All works on paper must be framed under glass or plexiglass and ready to hang. All paintings must be framed and ready to hang except when image wraps around sides. All two - dimensional work not properly framed with hanging wire will not be accepted. All work must be original - offset reproductions and Giclee prints are not acceptable. Art work shown in previous Regional Art Exhibitions are not eligible. All work must have been completed by the artist in the last three years. Inappropriate artwork will be rejected (i.e. porn, hate, racist, etc). You may photocopy the downloaded prospectus as necessary and are welcome to share this page.
Entry Requirements
The fees structure for this exhibition is $30 for DCCAH members and $35 for non-members for the first entry. Each additional entry is $5 up to the maximum of three entries per artist. Of all the works submitted, only sixty-five works will be chosen for the show. All artwork will be accepted on take-in days and entry fees paid prior to the judging process. If your work is not selected by the judge, entry fees are nonrefundable. Please complete the entry card and artwork identification tags. Cut out and attach tags to upper right hand corner on the back of each work. Bring artwork, entry fee, and entry card to Ann Rudd Art Center, 144 East Broad Street, Ozark, Alabama. All accepted works must remain for the duration of the show.
NOTE: If you complete your submission online, your paperwork will be given to you at the art take-in.
Awards
Exhibition Catalog
There will be an exhibition catalog printed with the names of each artist and the images of the winning works of art. All artists are encouraged to attend the opening reception and awards presentation at the Ann Rudd Art Center, Ozark, Alabama.
Sales
Sales of artwork are encouraged. The Dale County Council of the Arts and Humanities will retain a 20% commission on all sales.
Liability
The Dale County Council of the Arts and Humanities will take all reasonable care in the handling and hanging of the art work. DCCAH will not be liable for loss or damage to artwork while in its possession or on display. Artwork not picked up within 14 days after the end of this exhibition will become the property of DCCAH and will be disposed of at the Arts Council's discretion. Your signed entry card is your consent to the rules governing this exhibition The Dale County Council of the Arts and Humanities is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible.

- Saturday, August 19 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- Monday, August 21 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
- Must be picked up on August 24 from 1 - 5 p.m.
- Saturday, August 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
- All work must be picked up on September 23 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

- First Place Award: $500
- Second Place Award: $300
- Third Place Award: $200
- Four Merit Awards: $50 per Award
