About Ann Rudd
Once at an outdoor festival in the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, lightning struck a pine tree near my art exhibit. My gold frames were fried, dirt and leaves got into my watercolors, and I was hauled off to an emergency room for observation. I rebounded, but that pine tree did not! Since leaving the Art and Architecture Department at Auburn University, I've been happily designing and painting, and volunteering for my fav art organization here in Dale County.
