Drawing Class for Adults
Artist Jeffrey E. Babine will be offering the visual elements of art course at the Ann Rudd/
Dowling Museum starting Saturday, 9 July 2016 and ending 6 August 2016. This five week
course, meeting once-a-week on Saturday, 9:30 am until 11:30 am, will teach the student the
visual elements of art consisting of line, perspective, shape, value and texture. Cost of the five
week course is $50.
Students need to bring 18 x 24 inch drawing pad, six (6) 4B Charcoal pencils, box of soft
charcoal sticks, smudge stump, kneaded eraser and 24 inch ruler. Course size is limited to 10 students.
Jeffrey E. Babine has Bachelor of Arts degree in Painting from the University of Alabama,
Huntsville and a Master of Fine Arts degree in drawing for the University of Arizona. Mr. Babine
is an award winning artist who has exhibited his drawings in local, regional, and national art
exhibitions over the last 40 years.
