Our Story ... Then and Now
The Alabama Bicentennial is winding down its three year, statewide journey on Alabama's Birthday, December 14, 2019.
The Dowling Museum/Ann Rudd Art center is exhibiting an amazing archive of historic and contemporary photos, maps, artifacts and multi-media presentations depicting "Our Story...Then and Now" as a tribute to the Alabama 200 journey.
Join us at the Rudd Art Center, Saturday, October 19 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for an evening of southern cuisine, entertainment and memoirs of our legacy.
The event is free and open to the public and the exhibit will be on display through December. Gallery hours are Tuesday and Wednesday 11:00-3:00.

From Mixon Intermediate School (from Facebook post)
Very proud of our Mixon student’s Bicentennial mixed media mural being selected to be displayed at the Rudd Art Center in downtown Ozark through the end of December 2019! Each and every piece of this mural was completely hand crafted or designed and placed in a specific spot on the state by a Mixon student! We also had volunteers from the community and some parent volunteers that helped create this masterpiece! It is truly a work of art! Follow this page to see updates as the Bicentennial art show in Ozark evolves! We will also feature up close shots of the mural to show off each and every individual piece that represents a portion of this great state! Soon to follow will be a list of volunteers who helped make this possible!
