Rhonda Hancock
My work expresses an eclectic range as I continues to venture into different approaches with a variety of mediums. As a member of the Alabama Plein Air Artists, Watercolor Society of Alabama and The Eufaula Art Scene, I am continually discovering and honing my skills through workshops and classes these organizations offer. I have studied under Sue Connor, Pat Weaver, and Tom Jones, in addition to participating in the workshops of Joe Fettingis, Jack Shields, Linda Kemp, Chuck MacLachlan, Clare V. Dorst, and Mitch Kolbe. While a resident of Florida, I was a member of Citrus Watercolor Club, serving as President in 2013, Florida Watercolor Society, West Coast Plein Air Group, Tarpon Springs Art Association, and Spring Hill Art League After making Brooksville, Florida home since my 1977 marriage to life-long resident Harry Hancock. My husband and I relocated to Abbeville, Alabama in 2015. My paintings are in private collections in Washington, Alaska, New York, South Carolina, North Carolina, Washington, Massachusetts, as well as, Florida and the Netherlands.
