I grew up in Maine, and always enjoyed drawing but never spent much time at it. My husband was a career soldier, and instead of taking me to "see the world" as he promised, he brought me to Fort Rucker for the last 12 years of his career! I practiced nursing for 50 years, and also taught nursing for 35 of those years.
After raising my two girls and paying off their school loans, I decided to take an online art class and was hooked!!! I have been doing glass and resin work for about three years now, and after fully retiring last June have increased my art time and decided to share it. I joined the Art Center last fall and have been enjoying myself since!
