Biography
I grew up in Nashville, TN. When I was 18, I moved to Memphis to study Graphic Design & Photography at Memphis College of Art. In the late 80s, I moved to Virginia Beach, VA where I raised my 2 daughters, Lexi & Meagan. In 2008, I moved to Ozark, AL where I currently live with my wonderful husband, Jeff.
I take inspiration from nature & everyday life. I look for the extraordinary in ordinary things & I believe that shows in my work. My preferred medium has been photography for many years, although I have more recently started painting again & doing mixed media collage pieces. This page includes a mix of old & new.
I am honored & humbled to have won a few awards in DCCAH sponsored art shows this year. DCCAH has welcomed me with open arms & I'm proud to live in a community where we have people dedicated to promoting art & culture.
