About Ann Rudd
Once at an outdoor festival in the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, lightning struck a pine tree near my art exhibit. My gold frames were fried, dirt and leaves got into my watercolors, and I was hauled off to an emergency room for observation. I rebounded, but that pine tree did not! Since leaving the Art and Architecture Department at Auburn University , I've been happily designing and painting, and volunteering for my fav art organization here in Dale County.
